This month, we’re thrilled to shine our Employee Spotlight on someone who embodies the spirit of Ruby Red’s every single day: Amanda Gaumer, our exceptional Server and Front of House Lead.

Amanda grew up right here in Orange County, but her journey has taken her through Seattle, Washington and Dallas, Texas before finding her way home again. And we’re grateful she did—because ever since returning, she’s been an invaluable part of the Ruby Red’s family.

Amanda has always had a deep love for the restaurant industry, especially the opportunity it gives her to brighten someone’s day. What makes Ruby Red’s stand out for her is the people—the camaraderie, the support, and the sense of belonging. “Not only does the staff feel like family, but it feels like we’re all a part of the Williamson family too. I always told myself I wanted to enjoy going to work and do what I love. Ruby Red’s makes that a reality for me.” Of course, she’s also a true fan of the menu. Her guilty pleasure? The Texas Reuben with a side of cream corn—a pairing she swears is the best combo on the entire menu. And for dessert? A warm piece of cornbread to top it off. Looking ahead, Amanda hopes to continue growing within the restaurant industry, building on her passion for food, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences. She thrives on being part of people’s special moments—from celebrations to everyday visits—and takes pride in making each interaction welcoming, warm, and genuine.

Amanda’s dedication, positivity, and heart for service make her an incredible asset to the Ruby Red’s team. We’re grateful for the leadership she brings to our Front of House and proud to have her as part of the RR family.
